General Earl Rudder and his family lived in the home after a fire destroyed the President's Home on campus in 1966. George and Hillary have completely restored the home and furnished it with a variety of beautiful antiques.

George retired from teaching and research at Texas A&M after 32 years in Health and Kinesiology.  Known as the "Father of Mt. Aggie," he still teaches Intermediate Snow Skiing.  Hillary retired from academic counseling at Texas A&M after 10 years in General Studies and 20 years in the Mayes Business School.
